Abstract


Majority of traumatic dental injuries occurs in younger people. Traumatic dental injury of maxillary anterior teeth can influence the pychologic and emotional states of patient. Proper diagnosis, rapid emergency treatment and periodic follow up are important for increasing a favorable outcome. The guidelines of IADT represent the current best evidence and practice based on literature research and professional¡¯s opinion. The most important thing is to prevent trauma and to treat quickly following guidelines of IADT when injury occur for minimizing the complications.
